Villa Bianca – Luxurious romantic hideaway in the middle of Kalkan ‘Old Town’
Arguably the most romantic hideaway, Villa Bianca is tucked away in the Kalkan ‘Old Town’ district, famous for its jasmine scented, bouganvilla lined cobbled streets leading down to the harbour, and a stone’s throw from the best restaurants and bars and the ‘Blue Flag’ beach. Villa Bianca is an historic 3 storey, 2 en suite bedroomed townhouse with its own private courtyard, oozing with regional charm. Newly renovated to the highest specification in 2011 and retaining many original features including exposed brickwork and white washed beams, it has been brought into the 21st Century with every ‘mod con’. The villa is a wonderful retreat for honeymoon couples, romantics and even for a family with teenage children.

Accommodation consists of a large modern ground floor kitchen/ living area ( with a wood burning stove for those cooler winter evenings!); two bedrooms on the first floor : a stunning master bedroom suite with ‘Emperor’ size bed, superb modern en suite shower/WC and own balcony looking over the beautiful private courtyard below; and a pretty second bedroom with two single beds and its own modern en suite Shower/WC. Then ascend the spectacular spiral staircase to the magnificent roof terrace with both a large shaded canopy area, a private sunbathing area and a rooftop complex consisting of a third shower/WC room and a fully equipped kitchenette/ sun room.
Villa Bianca is equipped to the highest standards. The latest air conditioning units in living area and both bedrooms; all Bosch appliances in the ‘cutting edge’ kitchen; Sony flat screen wall mounted in the lounge area with DVD, further TV/DVD in master bedroom and I-Pod docks both in the lounge and on the roof terrace. The villa has Wi-Fi internet access provided. A luxurious modern sofa inside is complemented by outside dining area, armchairs and sun beds in the courtyard, with gas barbecue on hand, and armchairs/sun beds on the roof terrace . Shade is provided by sun umbrellas and the large rooftop awning.
If you can drag yourselves away from this quiet haven then a minute’s walk will take you to the harbour where you can take a water taxi to one Kalkan Bay’s numerous beach clubs for the day , or take a dip in the sea from Kalkan’s pretty, if pebbly beach. Breakfast at the Merkez bar, just round the corner and of course the evening brings all of Kalkan’s famous restaurant’s within a minute or two’s walk. Shopping is easy too as there are local grocery shops within a few hundred yards of the villa as well as the main supermarkets located only a short walk further on.
